Mr. Kirk's so called long standing rule did not prevent Democrats from marching in previous Founder's Day parades. Could it be that, for the first time, he feels his privileged status threatened? The only people truly injured by this decision are the Founder's Day committee. They have demonstrated themselves to be petty and capricious with this sudden invention of the "long standing rule." Mr. Kirk may not allow us to march in his parade, but it won’t stop us from being heard. I think, come November 4th, we'll be heard, loud and clear.
